General Role

The Director of Projects oversees IMMERSE’s student-led project ecosystem. This role guides project teams from early ideas to functional prototypes, demos, research tools, educational simulations, or community-facing initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee active IMMERSE projects and set goals, timelines, and milestones.
  • Help new project ideas develop into organized teams with clear objectives and responsibilities.
  • Support project planning, progress tracking, and regular project updates.
  • Connect members to project teams based on skills, interests, and availability.
  • Work with the Director of Immersive Development to support technical project needs.
  • Work with the Director of Digital Media and Public Relations to showcase project progress.
  • Help prepare projects for demos, presentations, conferences, and community events.
  • Ensure projects align with IMMERSE’s mission of medical education, research, science, and empathy.
